Waterland Business Deveopment Training have been organising outdoor courses for business and young people for over twenty-five years and during that time have progressed their staff both academically and using experiential learning for the benefit of our clients needs. Led by our Director of Training & Development, Joanne Pendlebury MA MCIPD PGCE the staff are encouraged to develop themselves through continuous professional development. A little about the staff
Joanne D Pendlebury holds a Masters Degree in Training and Development, is a qualified teacher and a Charted Member of the Institute Of Personnel Development. She holds a number of national governing body awards such as RYA Senior Instructor (Sailing), Windsurf instructor, Archery Coach, Stand Up Paddle Board Coach, Bush craft Instructor and Kayak Coach.
Chris Patterson holds NVQ Level Three In Management, holds a qualification for teaching in the post sixteen age group; he is a qualified First Aid Instructor, Bush Craft Instructor, Archery Coach and Stand Up Paddle Board Coach.
Peter Pendlebury is a qualified Safety Officer and holds the Nebosh certificate in Health & Safety and is a member of Iosh . He is also a First Aid Instructor and teaches Health & Safety Courses. He is also qualified in the outdoors and holds the Coach Award for Canoeing, and Archery Coach and is a qualified teacher in the post sixteen field.
Ant Parkes Holds a Bsc Outdoor Adventure Leadership & Management working towards a Masters Degree holds the Stand-up Paddle Board Coach and Kayak Coach.
Graham Stroud holds a BA in Outdoor Management is a qualified Stand Up Paddle Board Coach, Kayak Coach and Archery Coach.
Will Bond is our youngest staff member and at this present time taking a course at Swansea University in Engineering. He holds a Stand Up Paddle Board Coach and is an RYA Windsurf Instructor.
